Roof Insurance Claims
Northern Kentucky & Greater Cincinnati
Filing a roof insurance claim doesn't have to be overwhelming. We inspect and document every area of damage with photos, walk alongside your adjuster, and review the scope of loss.
How TNT Helps With Your Claim
Thorough Photo Documentation
We photograph every area of damage from the roof surface — not just ground level. Close-up shots of impact craters, lifted shingles, failed flashing, soft metal dents, and granule loss give your carrier a clear picture of what happened.
Written Inspection Report
A detailed written report documents all findings. We include damage type, affected materials, approximate impact counts, and areas of concern — giving you a professional record before you make a single phone call to your insurer.
Adjuster Walk-Along
When your adjuster arrives, TNT can be on-site to walk the roof together and point out damage areas that might be overlooked from the ground. We cannot negotiate — but two sets of experienced eyes on the roof matters.
Claim Scope Review
After your adjuster provides a written scope of loss, TNT reviews it to ensure covered damage is accurately reflected. If something was missed, we help you understand your options for requesting a supplement or re-inspection.
ACV vs RCV Education
We explain the difference between Actual Cash Value and Replacement Cost Value coverage, what depreciation means for your claim, and what to look for on your declarations page — in plain language, not insurance jargon.
Building Code Guidance
Kentucky roofing code requires certain upgrades during replacement (drip edge, ice shield, etc.). We identify what will be required so there are no surprises and you know whether your policy includes Ordinance and Law coverage.
Important Disclaimer: We are not licensed public adjusters and do not negotiate insurance settlements. We provide inspection documentation, damage photographs, written reports, and jobsite presence during adjuster visits. All claim approval decisions are made exclusively by the insurance carrier.
The Typical Claim Process
Storm Occurs
After a hail or wind event, watch for visible signs like gutter dents or missing shingles. Do not wait for a leak — damage is often not visible immediately.
